Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) Habib Kavuma on Monday morning signed a two year deal extension with the reigning League champion.
Kavuma who joined KCCA FC at the beginning of the 2012/2013 season has won four league titles with the Lugogo based and will stay till the 2018/2019 season.
The Ugandan international has been one of the strongest pillars in the KCCA FC defense since.
“KCCA FC is home to me and I have achieved so much with the club and I want to achieve more,
Kavuma told www.kccafc.co.ug reasons he decided to extend his contract before adding
“When the manager tabled the offer, I didn’t think long before putting pen to paper, KCCA FC is a developing club that wants to go places, I have already tested that and my game is improving day by day.
The 26 year defender also revealed the influence of manager Mike Mutebi on his career
“Coach Mike is the reason I am playing the way I am, he spotted me as a better centre half and not a full back, he trusted me in central defense and now am flourishing.
“Right now he is building a project that will last for sometime and I want to be part of that project as a player and later in any other capacity.”
Kavuma was part of the KCCA FC team that won the 2012/2013 league title, before defending it in the 2013/2014 season.
