Champions elect, Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club earned bragging rights in the Lugogo derby by defeating neighbors Proline FC.
Robert Ssentongo and second half substitute Sulaimon Akinyemi scored a goal each to help KCCA FC win 2-0 at Phillip Omondi stadium on Tuesday.
The victory ensured KCCA FC extended their winning streak to six straight games.

Team captain Dennis Okot who missed the trip to Morocco due to suspension returned to the starting team. Benjamin Ochan started in goal ahead of Douglas Kisembo, while Peter Magambo, Lawrence Bukenya, Noel Nasasira and Vincent Kayizzi all started.
It was Robert Ssentongo who broke the deadlock in the 35th minute tapping home Vincent Kayizz’s ground cross. Midfielder Sulaimon Akinyemi who had come on for Paul Mucureezi at restart doubled the lead in the 67th minute.
Akinyemi was well stationed to tap home Tom Masiko’s cross from a free kick as KCCA FC remained dominant for the rest of the game.
The result means KCCA FC move to 63 points with one game left (against Sadolin Paints) to the end of the season.
