We can do it-Mucureezi

Midfield gem Paul Mucureezi indicated that getting three points from Soana FC on Tuesday at Nakivubo will be an open statement that the club intends to win the title this season – come what may.

“I will call it a revenge game because Soana FC frustrated us in the first game which we would have won by a bigger margin. We are back fresh and hungry to get maximum points,” Mucureezi said.

Mucureezi, who featured as a substitute in the 1-0 loss to BUL FC, says his teammates have now put the defeat at the back of their minds and are now focused to winning the next game to keep

the coveted table lead.

“We now have players that can change the game result in a flash and I think we are now difficult to mark. I’m now fully in shape for the game after going through my graduation celebrations and I

only hope I can climax it with goal,” a confident Mucureezi said.

According to the last training season, Mucureezi is poised to start from the midfield alongside Jackson Nunda, Muzamir Mutyaba and Ivan Ntege as they create assists for the attacking combo of

Herman Wasswa and Ceaser Okhuti. Mucureezi’s only goal this season – a solo drive fused with a clinical finish – came during the 3-1 win over URA FC in the second round opener at Nakivubo.
