Manager remains upbeat despite loss to FUS Rabat

KCCA FC players greet their FUS Rabat counterparts before the opening game of the Group A of 2017 Total CAF Confederation Cup tie in Morocco

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA FC) team manager, Mike Hillary Mutebi has kept the belief despite the loss to Faith Union Sport(FUS) Rabat.

The manager indicated the heavy defeat on Sunday morning was due to careless mistakes that the players committed but he is confident this will be delt with.

We conceded 3 goals because of being careless in the middle of the pack. FUS Rabat were the better side but we shall go back to the drawing board and rectify our mistakes.

The manager told www.kccafc.co.ug before asserting that he expects a better performance in the next games.

The players need to be more efficient and keep the focus. That is what we lacked but I believe there is room for improvement and I expect a better performance

KCCA FC lost 3-0 to FUS Rabat in their maiden game in the group stage of the Total CAF Confederation Cup.

The Kasasiro boys are in group A alongside FUS Rabat (Morocco), Club Africain (Tunisia) and Rivers United (Nigeria).

The next two games will be at home(Phillip Omondi stadium) against Club Africain and Rivers United on 24th May and 3rd June respectively.
