Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) will officially be crowned champions this Saturday as the champions of the 2016/17 Uganda Premier League.

Ahead of the encounter against Sadolin Paints at Phillip Omondi stadium, team manager, Mike Hillary Mutebi has indicated he wants KCCA FC to end the season on an impressive note.

We are ready for the game tomorrow and we are not taking it for granted because we won the title already. The target is for us to play well and make sure we end the season in style

The manager told www.kccafc.co.ug before adding that maximum points will be the prime target going into the game against Sadolin Paints.

“We do not underestimate our opponents. Despite facing the drop already, they have been one of our toughest opponents but our target is to make sure we get maximum points,” the team manager added.

Last season we finished with 60 points, this time round we can stretch up to 66 points and we want it to go down history that we finished the 2016/17 season with those points

The manager also asserted that the performance in the game against Sadolin Paints will be a true reflection of how the team will play Club Africain in the Total CAF confederation cup on Tuesday next week.

It will be a precursor for the game against Club Africain. Some of the players who missed the game against FUS Rabat will be tested in the game against Sadolin Paints.

The first round meeting between the two sides ended in a one all draw at Bugembe stadium in Jinja.
