Mutyaba happy with timely return ahead of Rivers United clash

Midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba is one of the key figures in Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club [ KCCA FC ] at least for the past two seasons.

However, the midfielder has struggled with a shoulder injury that has seen him on the sidelines for the last two months.

He was stretched off in the 2 all draw against URA FC in the league on 19th April and since then, Mutyaba has missed 11 games until his return on Tuesday when he featured for 45 minutes in the Uganda Cup return leg against Express.

Mutyaba is delighted that he has fully recovered from the injury and believes the recovery process has been smooth and he is ready for action.

“I am happy that the recovery process has been smooth for me. It is quite important that I return ahead of a very crucial game for us,” the soft-spoken midfielder intimated to www.kccafc.co.ug.

The midfield maestro returns in time ahead of the encounter against Rivers United this Saturday and is confident the team can get maximum points.

“It is a crucial game for us and the target is to make sure we earn maximum points. We are set and prepared for the encounter and the mood in the camp is positive,” he indicated.

Mutyaba had a hand in 14 goals for KCCA FC enroute to winning the league title scoring 6 and assisting on 8 occasions.

Tickets for the Saturday tie at Lugogo are already on sale at Shell Petro Stations in Nakawa, Lugogo and Kampala Road together with the Philip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

They go for Shs 10,000/= in the open stands, Shs 20,000/= in the VIP and Shs 50,000/= in the VVIP with free entrance to all students in uniforms.
