We shall rectify our mistakes- Kavuma

Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) endured a horrible outing on Sunday morning, suffering defeat at the hands of FUS Rabat.

KCCA FC were condemned to a 3-0 loss at the stade du FUS at the coastal town of Rabat in Morocco in the opening game of Group A of the 2017 Total CAF Confederation Cup.

Defender and assistant captain Habib Kavuma believes KCCA FC will be able to correct the mistakes that cost them the game against FUS Rabat.

We lost the game. The first game in the group was always not going to be easy but we have known our mistakes and ready to rectify them before the next games

Kavuma intimated to www.kccafc.co.ug, the towering defender is confident KCCA FC can improve a lot in their next games to stand a chance of progressing.

We have learnt a lot from the loss to FUS Rabat but I’m still confident we can advance to the quarterfinals. We have a chance that our next two games will be at home, therefore we need to capitalize on that and make sure we earn maximum points

KCCA FC are in group A with FUS Rabat(Morocco),Club Africain(Tunisia) and Rivers United (Nigeria).

They host Club Africain on 24th May at Phillip Omondi stadium before taking on Rivers United at the same ground on  June 3.

But focus will turn to the league as they visit Proline on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at the Philip Omondi Stadium.
