Angolan Aires Emilson signs for KCCA FC.

Angolan Aires Emilson Gonzaga has signed for KCCA FC.

The 27 year old penned a two year deal until 2025 and he becomes the first Angolan to play for KCCA FC.

Emilson was born in Luanda, Angola and is a citizen of Angola.

He is a center back and has previously played at Angola’s Clube Desportivo da Huíla and Kabuscorp.

Emilson becomes KCCA FC’s second signing ahead of the 2023/24 season. He also becomes Sergio Traguil’s second signing at KCCA FC.

Gonzaga is expected to report for pre season on Sunday 16th July at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Emilson spoke to this club’s official website after putting pen to paper and he said

I’m excited to be here in Uganda and to be joining KCCA FC. I’m grateful for the opportunity and I want to make a positive impact on the Uganda football scene. I believe that I can help to raise the level of football in the country. There are a lot of young players coming up in Uganda, and I think they have the potential to be very successful. I’m excited to be a part of this, and I’m confident that we can make KCCA FC a force to be reckoned with in African football.
