KCCA FC shared spoils in the previous league game, two all against the old enemy SC Villa in the midweek.
The visitors Wakiso Giants lost to Mbarara City FC at home in their previous league fixture.

Derrick Nsibambi returned to individual training this week, but the game comes a little too early for him. He is expected to be back to full team training in the next few days.
