Speaking about the team’s display on Tuesday, Sadam said

I am happy a team we turned up and showed how badly we wanted it. Massive three points against the tournament’s record Champions. We kept trying and knocking on the door and when the moment presented itself we took it on. I am happy to be part of history and also to be part of this team. Our hunger for a result was the edge we had over our opponents. We will keep going in our next group games and see how far we can go.

KCCA FC are second in group A with 3 points and play Esperance next in the CAF Champions league on 17th July away in Tunis.
