KCCA FC Head Coach has emphasized that there is still so much work to do with the team.
The head coach hinted at the importance of each and every player in the squad.
We have so much work to do, but to be honest, I am happy with this group of players. Sergio stated.
The Head Coach was speaking to the media after the FUFA Super 8 game between Wakiso Giants FC and KCCA FC.
I felt the lads were a little nervous in first half but that was expected. This was their first competitive game of the season. I told them at the break that i was not happy and I am happy they did better in the second half. There is still so much we can do and we will improve each game we play. They are playing way better than I was expecting at this time. This is just the 4th week of pre season and the lads are playing at a top level.

Sergio expressed how proud he was of a number of players in the squad.
I am happy with Abu Mayanja. The young man is adapting well to senior football and developing steadily. He plays with a lot of confidence despite his age. I am happy he scored a brace today. I am also happy with how Moses Waiswa and Joel Sserunjogi brought calmness in the midfield against Wakiso Giants. I am happy with all the players and there is so much we can do together as a team.

Sergio’s charges will face URA FC in the semifinals of the FUFA Super 8 on Sunday 20th August 2023 at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo hoping they can make the third final in a row in this competition.
