KCCA FC Gaffer Mike Mutebi handed debuts to five of his new players. Versatile player Iguma started in defense while Kigozi Samson, Mugume Ashraf and Mazengo Loro played in midfield. Brian Aheebwa started as the team’s forward in pursuit for goals.
Brian Aheebwa has been handed his second senior Cranes call up. The number 9 was recently summoned for national duty but was part of the local based Cranes members that were preparing for the CHAN 2020 Finals in Cameroon that was due in April 2020 before the COVID Pandemic struck and had all plans halted.
The idea is to give the players long term contracts to keep the team stable if we are to compete at the top level. – Mike Mutebi
I feel very delighted to come to terms with KCCA FC and I am so proud to be part of a very big club like KCCA FC. I have been out of action for a while and I just want to go again with my new club.
Utility player Denis Iguma has penned two years deal that will keep him at KCCA FC until July 2022.
