KCCA FC vs URA FC

MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

Friday, November,21st, 2025 – 8pm EAT

KCCA FC are set to host rivals URA FC in a Uganda Premier League clash at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo. This fixture has all the hallmarks of a classic encounter, with the Cityzens looking to leapfrog to the top of the table while the visitors aim to climb out of the bottom half.

KCCA FC, sitting 3rd on the log, has a clear objective. A victory will push them into first place, showing serious title aspirations this season.

URA FC, meanwhile, is in 10th position. While they remain unbeaten, the number of stalemates has prevented them from moving up the top half of the table. The Tax Collectors have a run of one win and five draws and are yet to lose a game this term. They will be looking to break their draw sequence and pull off an upset against their rivals, KCCA FC.

Two players, Enock Walusimbi and forward Ivan Ahimbisibwe, will be the focus of attention as they face their immediate former club, URA FC.

Forward Ivan Ahimbisibwe addressed the media ahead of the reunion with his former pay masters.

I have great respect for my time at URA, but my focus is completely on KCCA FC now. We know a win takes us to the top, and there is no greater motivation than that. I am here to help my team win.

KCCA FC Co-Head Coach Jackson Magera stressed the difficulty of the opponent but reaffirmed his team’s readiness.

We are working well together, and every player is fighting for the badge. We want to carry that mentality into this game and stay on top of our game. We have prepared well tactically and mentally. We need to play with responsibility and take our chances on the day.
