MTN Omondi Stadium
The fortress of the Cityzens in the heart of Kampala.
MTN Omondi Stadium, located in Lugogo, Kampala, is the home ground of KCCA FC and one of the most iconic football venues in Uganda.
Named in honour of a legendary club figure, the stadium has been the backdrop for some of the most memorable moments in Ugandan club football. Its intimate capacity of approximately 10,000 creates an atmosphere that opposing teams have come to fear on matchdays.
Redevelopment
The stadium is currently undergoing a phased redevelopment programme to modernize its facilities while preserving the matchday atmosphere that makes it special. Improvements include upgraded seating, improved spectator facilities, enhanced floodlighting, and new media facilities.
Getting Here
MTN Omondi Stadium is located in Lugogo, approximately 3 kilometres northeast of Kampala city centre. The stadium is easily accessible by public transport, boda-boda, or private vehicle.
