Friendly Game
KCCA 5-0 Nabuti United

Before he went to the surgeon’s table over a month ago, custodian Douglas Kisembo, who joined Lugogo in August from Police FC, had not played a league match for KCCA FC.

First choice custodian Benjamin Ochan has played every minute of our 12 league matches this season leaving his deputies Kisembo and Charles Lukwago waiting on the bench.

Kisembo featured for 90 minutes in KCCA FC’s 5-0 demolition of Nabuti United in the friendly match played at Lugogo on Thursday afternoon.

“I want to push for a slot in the starting line-up now that I have recuperated fully. I know my time will come,” said Kisembo.

Noel Nasasira (1), Herbert Ogwang(1), Sulaimon Akinyemi (1) and Paul Musamali (2) scored for KCCA.
Manager Mike Mutebi says the two friendly matches – Hope Doves and Nabuti – have helped him continue fine tuning the team for the next league game against Proline on December 3.

“We will continue to engage in friendly matches in this league break to keep the players sharp,” he said.
