KCCA FC host Lugazi FC in the final home game of the 2024/25 season.

In the reverse fixture in Lugazi, both sides shared spoils.

KCCA FC were 5-0 winners against Wakiso Giants FC in the penultimate home league game last Saturday.

The visitors, Lugazi FC, lost 1-0 to Mbarara City FC away in their previous league fixture.

Neither side, KCCA FC nor Lugazi FC, can win the league at this time of the season. KCCA FC is looking for a win to improve its position on the log, while Lugazi is looking for points to maintain its 11th position on the log. Even if it wins its remaining two games, it can not move up.

A win helps KCCA FC build momentum ahead of the semifinal of the Stanbic Uganda Cup return leg this Sunday, May 18th, in Mbale.

We face a side that gave us a tough time in the first leg. They snatched a point, late, against us in the first leg, and they were resilient. I trust we now have enough in our armory to collect all three points against Lugazi FC. We will not have Nsibambi, Muhamud, and Katenga due to injuries. Magambo and Obenchan are suspended. But the rest of the squad is available for selection. – Jackson Magera Kaddu
