Vipers SC vs KCCA FC

St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

Friday, November, 7th, 2025 – 8pm EAT

KCCA FC is set to visit Vipers at the St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, in yet another high-stakes Uganda Premier League fixture.

KCCA FC has dominantly started the season, sitting at the top of the table with 11 points from 5 games and an unbeaten record (3 wins, 2 draws). The Cityzens have shown excellent form and have the momentum going into this fixture.

In contrast, Vipers SC find themselves in 13th place with just 3 points from one game, leaving them with four matches in hand and a considerable amount of catch-up to play.

Umar Lutalo, who has scored two goals and assisted twice this term, acknowledged the challenge posed by Vipers but maintained confidence in his team’s run.

Kitende is always a tough ground to visit, yes, but our team is in good rhythm, we are working well together, and every player is fighting for the badge. We want to carry that mentality into this fixture and maintain our position at the top.

KCCA FC co-head coach Jackson Magera Kaddu remains in full charge for the third match on the bounce, taking the reins in the absence of co-head coach Brian Sseyondo, who is away with the Uganda U17 national team in the U17 World Cup in Qatar. Magera emphasized the need for his players to rise to the occasion.

We have to have self-belief that we can play and get a result against them at their home. We have prepared well tactically and mentally. We need to play with responsibility, reduce mistakes, and take our chances in this fixture.
