In the 29th minute, the pressure told again; Ivan Ahimbisibwe pounced on a defensive lapse in the box, composed himself with a sharp touch, and slotted the ball home to double the lead.
KCCA nearly added a third before the break when Brian Jjara embarked on a powerful solo run through midfield, though his long-range effort was well saved by Hafizi.

Shafik Kwikiriza turned provider, weaving through the defense before delivering a perfect ball for Saidi Mayanja, who sealed the win with a spectacular diving header, just a minute after the hour mark.

In the 74th minute, Sharifu Ssengendo, Alex Yiga, and Umar Lutalo replaced Mayanja, Ssebaduka, and Joel Sserunjogi.
Eight minutes later, Kennedy Muserero and Rogers Mugisha came on for Ahimbisibwe and Kwikiriza.
The Cityzens saw out their 3-0 lead and won over traditional giants Express FC.
The Cityzens lie third on the league table with 42 points from 20 matches and look to carry this momentum on the road as they visit Lugazi FC this Saturday. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM at the Lugazi FC Stadium.
