KCCA FC forward Emmanuel Anyama’s recent form is a big revelation for the club and player as the 2024/25 season hits the very final bend.
The KCCA FC striker has been on fire in recent weeks, finding the back of the net an impressive six times in the last four matches. This purple patch could not have come at a better time for the Lugogo side as the club gears up for a crucial second-leg semifinal clash against Kataka FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Speaking with a confident glint in his eyes, Anyama exuded determination.
The goals have been flowing, and I am feeling really good, but this is just the beginning. I am not satisfied. I am hungry for more.

His recent scoring spree includes a triple brace against Kataka FC, SC Villa, and Lugazi FC.
This prolific form has not only boosted his confidence but has also injected a wave of optimism into the KCCA FC camp.
We know the second leg against Kataka will not be easy. They are a tough team, and a semifinal is always a battle. But we are prepared. We are focused. And I want to contribute even more to help my team reach the final.
Teammates and coaching staff have lauded Anyama’s dedication and work ethic, noting his improved movement and clinical finishing. His resurgence has provided a significant lift, especially with the Uganda Cup representing a golden opportunity for KCCA FC to add silverware to their cabinet this season.
I do not want to put pressure on myself. At the moment, I am only happy and grateful that I can get some playing time, and I want to use every chance I get to play. The team comes before everyone else, and for me, it is about the team getting the win first. I am only happy and willing to help every time I get the opportunity to play.
KCCA FC visits Kataka FC in the second leg of the semifinal of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Sunday, 18th May, at Mbale City Stadium. The Cityzens have a 3-0 advantage going into the return leg.
