Tuesday, December 16, 2025 – 8pm EAT

KCCA FC is back in action as they prepare to host newcomers Buhimba United Saints FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League fixture.

The Kasasiro Boys will be aiming for a home victory to maintain their momentum in the league and keep top of the table heading into the AFCON 2025 break.

Tuesday’s encounter will mark a historic first meeting between KCCA FC and Buhimba United Saints FC in the Uganda Premier League.

Buhimba are recent entrants to the top flight, and there is no prior head to head record between the two clubs in official league competitions.

KCCA FC is top of the Uganda Premier League table on 23 points from 10 matches, while Buhimba United Saints are 14th on the table with 10 points from 10 matches.

KCCA FC have won their last four matches in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, picking up 12 points.

The concern, however, will be on the goals let in by the Cityzens, as they have conceded in each of the last six matches in the league.

Buhimba has not won a league match since Matchday 3. They have gone 7 matches without a league win and have picked up only one point in the last seven matches, which came against UPDF in the previous fixture at home.

Coach Brian Ssenyondo

KCCA FC’s co-head coach, Brian Ssenyondo, spoke ahead of the home game, emphasizing the need for focus and professionalism against a relatively unknown opponent.

Every game in this league presents a unique challenge, and playing Buhimba United Saints for the first time is no different. We have analyzed their recent performances, and we know we cannot afford to underestimate them. Our focus has been on maintaining high concentration, especially in front of our home fans. The team must be professional, stick to the game plan, and ensure we convert our chances to secure the vital three points.
