Kampala Capital City Authority Soccer Academy (KCCA SA) will play in the finals of the Fufa Juniors league for the second successive year.

After losing in the finals last year against Vipers Junior team in a tense penalty shootout, the prime target this time round will be to clinch the title on the second attempt.

KCCA SA take on Soana soccer academy this Friday in the final of the 2016/17 Fufa Juniors league at Kakindu stadium in Jinja.
Under coach Jackson Magera, the junior side have enjoyed a fantastic display during the regular season topping treble group with 67 points.

Additionally the team has scored a whooping 63 goals in the regular season, the best tally by any team across the two groups whilst conceding just nine.
Coach Jackson Magera indicates the team is set for the final and believes they have what it takes to win the title.

“We are ready for the final. Our target right from the start was to make sure we win the title and we must accomplish that on Friday. The players are up to the task and they know what is at stake,” he told www.kccafc.co.ug.

League leading goalscorer Sadat Anaku will be tasked with the challenge of leading the attacking line in search for goals against Soana soccer academy.

The lanky forward has scored 27 goals in 20 games and currently leads the scoring charts.

Team skipper Ivan Jurua is also confident ahead of the final and indicates they are prepared as players.

“We are prepared, the morale in the camp is good and everyone is looking forward to the final. Our target is quite clear – to win the title. We are ready to serve to our best ability,” said the midfielder.

The other notable key players in the team include Michael Lutaaya(goalkeeper), Reagan Kasumba(defender), Issa Ochama(midfielder) and Ivan Asaba(midfielder).
