Teenage sensation Allan Okello came off the bench to score twice in a Uganda Cranes  practice match against the Copa Coca Cola select side on Tuesday at the Philip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

Okello who was training with the national team for the first time showed no sign of timidness and imposed himself like he had been there before.

“It’s a great pleasure for me to train with the national team,” Okello told www.kccafc.co.ug on Tuesday evening before adding

“It’s a big step towards my dream of representing my country one day, I know many more invitations like these are coming before I eventually make my debut

” I just need to stay grounded, focused and working hard towards achieving my goal and I know that day will come,” Okello added.

The 16 year old attacking midfielder made his KCCA FC debut against Onduparaka in the Azam Uganda Premier League.

As KCCA scored seven in the tie, Okello grabbed a hat trick and assisted two, he has also been a mainstay in manager Mike Mutebi’s squad since.
