Form Guide

KCCA FC SA has demonstrated exceptional performance in the initial weeks of the campaign:

On match day one, the young Cityzens collected a hard-fought 2-1 away victory against Kitara FC JT in Hoima, with goals from Ismail Fahad and Felix Munguestoni.

Obliteration was the case on matchday two when the young Cityzens collected a spectacular 9-0 demolition of Buhimba FC JT at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, showcasing the team’s immense scoring depth and tactical discipline.

In contrast, Calvary FC JT will be searching for a bounce back result. They narrowly lost their season opener 1-0 to Buhimba United Saints FC JT and will be eager to use their home advantage in Arua to halt the KCCA juggernaut.

Teenagers to Watch

Felix Mungeustoni, Thomas Ogema and Gift Fred Mutalya. The young forwards trio has been in sparkling form, finding the net twice each in the opening two fixtures and playing a pivotal role in the build-up play during the recent goal-fest at Lugogo.

Their movement and chemistry will be key to unlocking the Calvary defense.

Extra special has got to be new recruit Gift Fred Mutalya, who came off the bench to score a brace against Buhimba FC JT last weekend.

Speaking ahead of the trip to Arua, KCCA FC Soccer Academy Head Coach Saka Mpiima emphasised the importance of maintaining focus despite the team’s high-scoring start:

We have had a brilliant start, and the boys are expressing themselves well on the pitch, but the mission remains the same: development and consistency. Travelling to Arua to face Calvary is a different kind of challenge that requires mental toughness. Our focus is on maintaining our philosophy and ensuring we keep the momentum going to protect our 100% record.
