Saddam Juma joins KCCA FC on 3 year deal

Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) have completed the signing of 24 year old midfielder Saddam Ibrahim Juma from Express FC.

The enterprising midfielder has officially joined the reigning league champions signing a three year deal and was unveiled on Monday morning at the Phillip Omondi stadium.

Saddam who was delighted about joining KCCA FC indicated it is a great achievement and promised to work to the best of his ability.

Sadam told www.kccafc.co.ug. Team manager Mike Hillary Mutebi also noted that Sadam Juma’s acquisition is important to the team given his exceptional abilities.

“Certainly his acquisition is going to add a lot on the way we play. I have always talked about clarity in our play and have been looking for a player who can circulate the ball and command us in the midfield and Saddam is that kind of player,” said the manager.

He is going to add a lot. Saddam is an intelligent player who can give us the shape, spread the ball and ignite our attacks. I have worked with him at a tender age and I believe he will be a good addition to the team.

Sadam joins KCCA FC at the time when the team is preparing for the group stage games in the Total CAF Confederation Cup with the opening fixture coming up on May 13th 2017 against FUS Rabat in Morocco.

He has been handed shirt number 23 that was last donned by Joseph Benson Ochaya who joined Zambia’s outfit Lusaka Dynamos in March this year.

KCCA FC are in group A alongside FUS Rabat (Morocco), Club Africain (Tunisia) and Rivers United(Nigeria)
