EIGHT KCCA FC PLAYERS NAMED TO FINAL CHAN 2024 UGANDA CRANES SQUAD

Eight KCCA FC players have been named to the final 25-man Uganda Cranes squad for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 to be hosted in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.

The KCCA FC players heading to CHAN 2024 are;

• Ivan Ahimbisibwe
• Lazaro Muhindo
• Shafik Nana Kwikiriza
• Joel Sserunjogi
• Emmanuel Anyama
• Gavin Mugweri Kizito
• Arafat Kiza Usama

Our club team medic, Ivan Ssewanyana, completes the equation, and he will serve as the team physiotherapist for the Uganda Cranes during CHAN 2024.

The squad consists of 25 players, including three goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders, and seven forwards.

This will be the seventh time the Uganda Cranes will be featuring at the CHAN finals. Uganda is pitted in Group C with Niger, Guinea, Algeria, and South Africa.

As one of the tournament hosts, Uganda gained automatic qualification to CHAN 2024 alongside Kenya and Tanzania.

The Cranes will open their campaign on 4th August 2025 against Algeria at Mandela National Stadium.
